Information Systems Analyst

We are looking for someone to deliver application development and support to our internal business users within a multi-national, multi-location Information Services (IS) Department.

The successful candidate will be based in our office in Ho Chi Minh City, reporting directly to the Manger IS Systems and part of the overall IS team supporting our business operations in Vietnam and Thailand.

The candidate will be responsible for a range of applications and systems within our portfolio, providing both support for current solutions and leading development of new applications or sub-functions within larger projects. The candidate will work with our counterparts in the Thailand Affiliate, and our central IS functions to deliver truly global solutions. Some travel to these locations can be expected.

Key activities of the job are:
- Develop the functional and technical specifications needed to guide our third party developers in building our future solutions
- Support in the design, build and deployment of IS solutions, IS processes and/or delivery of IS services by working closely with the relevant business functions in two countries.
- Understand and promote the IS Service delivery model and IS processes needed to support the business requirements.
- Become the system expert in a range of assigned applications, drive adoption and enhancements of such systems to bring benefits to our business.
- Create and maintain documentations, training programs and operating manuals within assigned expertise.
- Mange small projects and lead small project teams including contractors.

The ideal candidate should have:
- 4 – 6 years’ of IS experience in IS environment, supporting or delivering solutions to a commercial operation.
- Application development and support experience
- Project leadership experience
- Working experience in multinational companies, or education in an English speaking environment would be highly regarded.
- SAP experience would also be highly regarded
